Mind Body Integration Classes

Instruction in mind-body techniques that help transform stress and negative emotions into self-controlled tranquility, including:

    Yoga
    • A philosophy and discipline applied to the development of mind, body and spirit.
    • Through practices of holding a variety of body positions or asanas, and the centering of the mind and breath in a meditative way, the practitioner increases body awareness, posture, flexibility of body and mind, and calmness of spirit.
    • It is believed that yoga cleanses the body of toxins, while improving muscle tone and blood circulation.

    Qi Gong (pronounced chee gong)
    • One of the five branches of Chinese medicine, combining specific postures with regulated breathing and specific mental focus.
    • A healing practice designed to release toxins and strengthen internal organs.
    • Qi Gong is said to also enhance immune function, improve blood circulation, increase self-awareness and decrease stress.

    Tai Chi
    • An ancient Chinese practice combining movement, meditation, and breath regulation to enhance the flow of vital energy, known as chi, (pronounced chee) in the body.
    • It is known to improve blood circulation, enhance immune function, increase self-awareness and promote relaxation, among other health benefits.
    • Utilizing martial arts movements, Tai Chi provides a gentle body toning and conditioning effect.

    Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
    • A simple direct approach to release and redirect blocked energy patterns in the body/mind.
    • Core emotional issues and physical difficulties often clear quickly and easily.
    • Effective with: addiction, pain, depression, anxiety, trauma and more.
    • Properly applied, over 80% achieve either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem.
